This little park conserves a sample of conifer and oak forest, typical from the western highlands of Guatemala. It is an ideal resting place between the departments of Quetzaltenango and San Marcos, with impressive views of Santa Maria and Zunil volcanoes, as well as the mountain range of Cacique Dormido and the valley of Quetzaltenango. During your visit you can observe the local flora and fauna, including the outstanding Pinkheaded Warbler (Ergaticus versicolor), a regional endemic bird species. This is an ideal place to appreciate nature, rest and enjoy with your family.
